Let it go for 2007
There are people who can walk away from you.
When people can walk away from you: let them walk.
Don't try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you.
When people can walk away from you let them walk.
Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.
The bible said that, they came out from us that it might be made manifest that they were not for us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us. [1 John 2:19]People leave you because they are not joined to you, and if they are not joined to you, you can't make them stay.
Let them go.
And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person it just means that their part in the story is over and you've got to know when people's part in your story is over so that you don't keep trying to raise the dead.
You've got to know when it's dead.
You've got to know when it's over. Let me tell you something. I've got the gift of good-bye. It's the tenth spiritual gift, I believe in good-bye. It's not that I'm hateful, it's that I'm faithful, and I know whatever God means for me to have He'll give it to me, and if it takes too much sweat I don't need it. Stop begging people to stay.
Let them go!!
If you are holding on to something that doesn't belong to you and was never intended for your life, then you need to...LET IT GO!!!

If someone can't treat you right, love you back, & see your worth...LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge...LET IT GO!!!
If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction.....LET IT GO!!!
If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talents…LET IT GO!!!
If you have a bad attitude...LET IT GO!!!
If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better...LET IT GO!!!
If you're stuck in the past and God is trying to take you to a new level in Him...LET IT GO!!!
If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship...LET IT GO!!!
If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try to help themselves...LET IT GO!!!
If you're feeling depressed and stressed...LET IT GO!!
If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling yourself and God is saying "take your hands off of it," then you need to...LET IT GO!!!
Let the past be the past. Forget the former things.
GOD is doing a new & wonderous things for 2007!!!

SUFFERING THE CONSEQUENCES One of the hardest realities for some to learn is that there are consequences to our actions. Whatever we do either affects us or others and usually both. We begin teaching our children at an early age, "don't hit, bite, etc. because that hurts the other person. We are teaching them that there are consequences to others because of our actions. We teach them to avoid fires and hot surfaces, because the consequences are that we hurt ourselves. Some however are slow to learn those lessons and many, as we say, "have to learn the hard way" through suffering the consequences of our actions. I read a story the other day, which at first seemed cute, but as the message sinks in it teaches a much deeper lesson. Little Emily, the minister's daughter, ran into the house, crying as though her heart would break. "What's wrong, dear?" asked her father. "My dolly, my dolly! Billy broke it!" she sobbed. "How did he break it, Emily?" her father asked. To which she replied, "I hit him over the head with it." Consequences! Far too often just like that little girl we tend to blame someone else for something that is a direct result of our decisions or actions. Job says in Job 4:8, "My experience shows that those who plant trouble and cultivate evil will harvest the same". While Hosea says in Hosea 10:12, "I said, 'Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of my love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.'" We deal with consequences daily in our lives, either because of our actions or because of the actions of others. The question with which we are left, perhaps is, "how do we react when our dolly is broken and on whom do we place the blame"? We tend to face problems in life and ask, "Why did God do this to me?" when in reality it is a result of our choices, the choices others made or maybe even a result of our life style (again a matter of choices). God will never do anything to hurt you and he will never desert you in times of trouble. The Psalmist writes in Psalms 62:6-7, "He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me." Jeremiah wrote in Jeremiah 6:16, "So now the LORD says, "Stop right where you are! Look for the old, godly way, and walk in it. Travel its path, and you will find rest for your souls".

There are many benefits to being an adult -- no curfew and not having to ask to borrow the car are a few. The biggest upside to growing up is knowing that it doesn't matter what other people think. ~Unknown
